Unley High is pleased to present a new resource for y'all.
You know when you create a new image, or start the year fresh you often want to get the latest updates to all those Adobe/Apple/Microsoft programs that seem to be sooo important these days, but you first have to figure out what version you're running, then find the standalone installer buried somewhere in a huge website with legalese blocking you at every turn?
Yes, you know you do.
Well I present an easier way! The SA School Tech Support Download Website. Hosted on a blazingly fast fibre connection and connected through the Department for free data transfer, your downloads have never been this easy! </salespitch>
This service will be on a trial basis at first to determine the necessity of such a service and the impact on Unley's other web sites. I will be regularly updating the hosted software with the latest versions. this service is unfortunately only for those connected with a DECS sanctioned internet plan (for money reasons). I also have to ask that no one use the service to download software from home for the same reason. The other inconvenience is that I have to ask you to sign up before you can use the service, and be approved by me (or another Admin as they are appointed) - so it might take a while before you can get started. I also cannot guarantee right now that things won't change overnight. I'll try not to do anything crazy, but this is beta quality stuff.
In future the service might incorporate other Tech related resources, but for now it is primarily for these downloads. If you wish to see other software available please write to me at this address, or use the form on the site itself. I would love feedback as well, so please let me know what you think or how it can be improved.
